Senator Ataullahjan spoke to 'University Women Helping Afghan Women', a group of educated women dedicated to learning about the realities of daily life in Afghanistan, to raise awareness in their community about challenges affecting Afghan women and girls, to advocate on their behalf, and to raise funds for targeted projects.




Senator Ataullahjan spoke to the group about issues facing women from Afghanistan. She spoke of her experience in Afghanistan, comparisons between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and about the education of women and girls.
